Dragonflies and astronauts

Recently I was asked by Catalyst Entertainment to create and develop the characters for the Dragonflies & Astronauts Rock Concert, a new live show featuring The Parlotones in partnership with Volkswagen SA that will be broadcast live from The Teatro at Montecasino in 3D on 16 July, 2011. This is a rock theatre production, complete with storyline, sets, and characters revolving around the greatest hits of The Parlotones. The show will run from 11 to 17 July, and global broadcasting will take place on the 16th. Local fans will be able to watch the performance live in 3D at fourteen NuMetro cinemas throughout South Africa. And the 3D version will be shown across the world. Lots of fun was had coming up with fantastical steampunk-inspired characters!
